Stoma Therapy is currently seeking a full-time Stoma Therapist (m/f/d) to join our team at Chirurgie I in Leasburg, MO.

About Stoma Therapy and Your Responsibilities:

You will ensure optimal care for stoma patients in Chirurgie I. This includes pre-operative marking of the stoma, post-operative care, and patient education on stoma care. You will also assist in transitioning patients to post-hospital care. Additionally, you will serve as a consultant for difficult stoma cases for all departments at UKW.
As a Stoma Therapist, it is important to work in an interdisciplinary team and involve various professions in the therapy process.
Your expertise is also valued. You will share your knowledge with colleagues and continuously educate yourself to stay uptodate.

This diverse and responsible role requires strong communication skills, particularly in patient interactions, as well as the ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

Good time management is also essential.

Requirements:

Completed nursing degree
Stoma Therapy certification or willingness to obtain certification
Ability to think and act in a businessoriented manner
Strong communication and cooperation skills
Patientfocused communication
Good time management
