We Are Hiring:

Department:Triage

Schedule:0.5 FTE | 20 hours a week | part-time | M-F | 5 PM - 8 AM | Weekend shifts require 24 hour coverage. Weekend shifts are flexible and can include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. Example 8am-430pm, 9am-7pm, 2pm-12am

What You Will Do:
Provide patients with nursing support by telephone.

  • Prepare documentation information and transmits medical information.
  • Provide nonjudgmental triage and/or advice using the nursing process, specific protocols and established resources.
  • Direct callers to appropriate level of care and provides healthcare advice/education using assessment skills, approved guidelines, and knowledge of selfcare practices.
  • Select and deliver appropriate followup materials.
  • Provide professional, safe and effective carerelated advice to patients.

What You Will Need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multistate/Compact State.

Education:


  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Additional Preferences:
EPIC and phone triage experience preferred but willing to train the right candi
