Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Plan, design, analyze, evaluate and lead or colead projects implementation activities.
  • Proactively communicate status of activities, risks, and issues.
  • Respond to incidents tickets, user service requests, problem management, change management.
  • Proactively & timely use NYC H+H ServiceNow incident management system, to monitor, manage, review, track, update and/or assign incidents, change, problem requests, and resolved tickets assigned to the team.
  • Provide technical & professional guidance and assistance in the development and/or revision of documentation, dictionaries, dataflows diagrams, system architecture, disaster recovery procedures, test plans, technical instructions, release notes, enduser guides, training programs, and/or other materials.
  • Lead and configure and troubleshoot Clinical & Imaging Systems connectivity to medical devices (cameras, measurement devices, etc.) sending data & information to imaging systems in collaboration with Biomedical Engineering Staff supporting biomedical clinical devices.
  • Lead, participate, guide and/or support systems integrations & tightly integrated Epic system workflows, assists troubleshooting HL7 interface transactions to validate data workflow, and understandings integration design among multiplatform systems.
  • Implement best practices, standards, processes & workflows in clinical and imaging systems.
  • Coordinate with users, stakeholders, sponsors to assess departmental needs, to design, build and test solutions that improve clinical workflows and clinical care efficiencies.
  • Develop systems documentation, technical documentation, testplan, release notes, enduser guides, and training programs, and/or other materials as necessary.
  • Monitor status, identifies trends, and prepares reports on quality measures, performance metrics, or other department goals and objectives.
  • Identify, manage risks, & adhering to information security awareness, requirements, initiatives, & corporate policies.
  • Support adhoc projects and/or assignments required by the organization.
  • Lead and/or participate in infrastructure updates, upgrades, servicepatch installations, testing, changes, and releases to production.
  • Lead or participate in user groups, project teams, convening conference calls and meetings.
  • Use management & systems tools to create reports, graphs, pivot charts and other mechanisms to assist in decision making.
  • Communicate with users, clinical leadership, support teams, ESD, EOC, managers, directors and/or vendors.
  • Responsible for acting on enduser access requests or termination requests consistent with H+H access management policies and procedures.
  • Manage & maintain user management process and procedures consistent with H+H policies and procedures.
  • Participate on the team oncall/offhours support program to resolve issues offhours to maintain business continuity and special projects or golives as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • A Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Public Health, Hospital Administration, Social Sciences, Health Care or related field from an accredited college or university; and,
  • A Master's Degree in fields as stated in (1) with seven years experience as proved in (2); or,
  • A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Health Information Technology is a plus
  • Clinical & Operational Professional Certification is a plus
  • Clinical Certifications is a plus
  • Technical Certification is a plus
  • Imaging Certification is a plus

  • Strong technical expertise
  • Clinical analyst expertise
  • Medical imaging systems and devices experience
  • Information systems & EMR
  • Knowledge of integrated systems
  • Experience with Voice & Speech Dictation
