Scrum Master with Banking Domain Experience

Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with specialized knowledge in the banking domain to join our dynamic team.
- This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the banking industry, and a passion for fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guide the development teams on Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of selforganization, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments or blockers that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary.
- Act as a liaison between development teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals, priorities, and progress.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to project delivery, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
- Track and analyze key Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint progress, providing regular reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the teams, facilitating retrospectives and implementing action items to address areas of improvement.
- Foster collaboration and crossfunctional teamwork, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Embrace change and adapt Agile practices to suit the needs of the team and project, while adhering to Agile principles and values.
- Develop a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the projects to effectively support the development teams in overcoming technical challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflictresolution skills.
- Deep knowledge of banking processes, regulations, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor development teams for high performance.
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Passion for continuous learning and selfimprovement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Agile Certified Coach (ACC).
- Familiarity with banking software systems and technologies.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in the banking industry.

$ $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
