Responsibilities:


  • Conduct independent research on polymer electrolyte membranes for PEM fuel cells and their physical properties
  • Stay uptodate on the latest developments in the field
  • Develop methods for controlled humidification of membranes
  • Use an atomic force microscope to study the physical properties of different membranes at varying water contents
  • Analyze and present measurement results
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments on project progress

Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, process engineering, or mechanical engineering; previous knowledge of fuel cells is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Ability to work independently, in a structured and goaloriented manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken German, with good English skills
  • Highly motivated, with a strong sense of initiative and teamwork
