As a Patient Portal Liaison your responsibility will be primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and technical support teams in managing and optimizing the patient portal experience.
This role requires a strong understanding of patient portal functionalities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Essential duties/Responsibilities:
Patient Support:
Act as the primary point of contact for patients seeking assistance with the patient portal. Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to patients regarding registration, login, and usage of portal features.
Assist patients in navigating the portal interface and accessing relevant healthcare information, such as medical records, lab results, and appointment scheduling.
provider Collaboration:
Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to integrate the patient portal into the clinical workflow. Facilitate communication between patients and providers through secure messaging and telehealth functionalities available on the portal.
Coordinate training sessions or workshops for healthcare staff to ensure they are proficient in utilizing portal features for patient communication and engagement.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of patient inquiries, technical issues, and resolutions for future reference and reporting purposes. Generate regular reports on portal usage, user feedback, and performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders, including management, IT teams, and software vendors, based on user experiences and observations.

$ $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
