About the Position:_
This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent.
Under the direction of the Branch Chief of Traffic Safety Engineering, a Senior Transportation Engineer (Supervisor), the incumbent, an Associate Governmental Program Analyst, serves as the Traffic Safety Administrative Support Analyst in the Traffic Safety Engineering Branch.
The incumbent assists with performing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) remediation and updating/publishing new and updated guidance of various Traffic Safety publications.
Researches, analyzes, summarizes, and prepares Traffic Safety documents, including:
Proven Safety Countermeasure guidelines, Pedestrian and Bicyclist guidelines, the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD), and documents related to the California Traffic Control Devices Committee (CTCDC).
Assists engineers with planning, organizing, coordinating, and preparing presentations developed by and for the Traffic Safety Engineering Branch.See more details on the Duty Statement located on the job posting.
