Your tasks:

Your place of work is the Duvenstedter Markt School, a primary school in the Hamburg district of Wandsbek. You can find interesting information about the location on the school's website.

  • You are responsible for the maintenance of the buildings, the care of the outdoor facilities and the safety of traffic on the school grounds.
  • You control the technical facilities of the school (e.g. heating, ventilation, electrical and locking systems).
  • You independently carry out minor installations, repairs and troubleshooting.
  • You commission thirdparty companies, supervise the completion of cleaning and handyman work, and document them in our building management software.
  • You support the school management in organizing the daily school operations.
  • You lead the assistant caretaker at the school location.

Your profile:


Required

  • Completed threeyear apprenticeship in construction or related trades (e.g. plumbing, heating, electrical), metalworking, or mechanical/mechatronics
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work on ladders

Advantageous

  • Professional experience in a trade or building management
  • First leadership experience
  • Proficient in using a PC (especially Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Thorough, reliable
