We are looking for an apprentice to become an Operating Room Assistant (m/w/d) - OTA for one year.

What to expect

The training is based on the federal ATA-OTA law in its current version and the corresponding training and examination regulations.
2,100 hours of instruction at the Helios Education Center Plauen and a minimum of hours of practical training under expert guidance in mandatory and optional areas of deployment in the respective hospitals.
Preparation and follow-up of operations, such as preparing instrument trays and materials.
Assisting during surgeries.
Safe handling of medical-technical equipment.
Interdisciplinary collaboration and documentation of surgical procedures.

What you bring

A good secondary school leaving certificate or a secondary school leaving certificate with at least two years of vocational training or a professional permit as a nursing assistant (m/w/d).
Good academic performance, especially in the natural sciences.
Proof of medical fitness through a medical certificate.
Consent of parents for applicants under 18 years of age.
