    Description

    Position Summary

    Designs and implements health and safety programs to enhance employee well-being and safety at the workplace. Manages activities related to safety, wellness, and health programs, including planning, coordination, and monitoring. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, supports program initiatives, and delivers effective presentations and training.

    The salary range for this role is as follows:

    • Bay Area Minimum: $114,000
    • Bay Area Maximum: $182,000
    • California Minimum: $108,000
    • California Maximum: $173,000

    This hybrid position allows remote work and requires occasional on-site presence based on business requirements.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develops, implements, and monitors EH&S Emergency Preparedness programs for regulatory compliance and employee safety.
    • Offers support to various functional areas and conducts field observations.
    • Assists in injury/illness investigations and supports emergency preparedness systems.
    • Establishes safety standards, policies, and procedures in alignment with regulations and best practices.
    • Delivers presentations and ensures awareness and compliance with safety requirements.
    • Provides safety training and coordinates program review sessions.
    • Promotes safety awareness and regulatory compliance among employees.

    Qualifications

    Minimum

    • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
    • 7 years of safety and program management experience in construction, utility, or industrial environments, or master's degree in safety-related field with 5 years of relevant experience
    • Travel may be required up to 50% of the time

    Desired

    • MA/MS degree
    • Experience in the utility sector
