At the Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry in Red Bluff, CA, clinicians and basic scientists work closely together to research the causes of complex brain disorders and seek new ways to treat them.

In addition to a modern clinic equipped with all necessary facilities for patient care and research, extensive laboratories are available for the application of neurobiological research methods, from behavioral studies to molecular genetics.

The goal is to optimize the benefits of research for patients through close and innovative networking of basic and clinical neuroscience.

We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Human Resources Administrator (m/f/d) to join our team as part of a succession plan (reference number: 8015/9015).

Your responsibilities will include handling various tasks related to labor, social security, and collective bargaining law, as well as clarifying issues both internally and externally (correspondence with social security agencies, authorities, and offices).

You will also be responsible for maintaining personnel files and entering and updating employee master data in SAP.

Additionally, you will independently prepare and process monthly payroll for a defined group of employees, create employment/contract amendments, and serve as a point of contact for employees from different professional backgrounds.

You may also be involved in special projects.

Your profile should include a completed commercial apprenticeship and initial work experience in payroll accounting. You should have excellent computer skills (MS Office) and knowledge of social security, tax, and labor law. Experience with SAP is preferred. You should be structured, service-oriented, responsible
