- Lead cross-functional engineering teams throughout proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases of products
- Support proposal development and new program acquisitions
- Interpret statements of work provided by program leadership
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure team staffing
- Communicate project requirements effectively with suppliers
- Provide progress updates to internal and customer leadership
- Work efficiently in a dynamic environment with diverse assignments
- Demonstrate self-motivation, organization, and strong communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM-related field with 14 years of experience, or Master's Degree with 12 years, or Ph.D. with 9 years of experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership experience in project planning, cost management, technology, risk management, and more
- Experience in RF, Electrical, Digital, Power, Mechanical Designs or Embedded Processing
- Active SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
- Experience in technical or leadership roles within program or business functions
- Experience managing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) projects
- Direct experience leading engineering teams
- Proficiency in project scheduling and problem-solving
- Basic understanding of Design, Manufacturing, and Test processes
- PMP certification is a plus
- Active TS/SCI clearance with counterintelligence polygraph

Join us at Northrop Grumman Space System as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead within the Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) Division. This role will support the Remote Sensing Program (RSP) Business Unit based in Linthicum, MD.
The Space Hardware IPT Lead will primarily focus on program execution tasks, involving developing key technologies, integrating solutions for Space Payload and Ground Systems Division, and contributing to strategies for future programs. This position will be based in Baltimore, MD.
This individual will supervise a cross-discipline engineering team, typically consisting of 5-25 members, and will collaborate with Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Systems, Software, and Mission Assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
This position allows for a hybrid work model (75% on site, 25% remote). Local area residency is required.

Salary Range: $157,500 - $236,300
Northrop Grumman takes various factors into account when determining base salaries, including position scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
Eligible employees may receive a discretionary bonus along with base pay, as annual bonuses reflect individual contributions and company performance. Additional benefits include health insurance, life and disability coverage, savings plan, paid holidays, and vacation/personal time off.
