- Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area.
- Perform various general labor tasks as required.
- Work in diverse areas such as grading, reinforcing steel and structure, concrete application, machine operation, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Use basic hand tools: tape measure, hammer, pliers, shovels, rakes, etc.
- Use power tools: drills, saws, handheld grinders.
- Perform heavy lifting.
- Adhere to safety requirements and equipment guidelines.
- Travel as necessary to various sites.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Two years of high school and six to twelve months related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
- Read and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Construction knowledge and experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred.
- Forklift experience and light equipment operation experience preferred.
- Welding, concrete, fiberglass, and artistic experience preferred.
- OSHA/safety training preferred.
- Hourly pay for travel time from home to job site and job site to job site
- Up to $85/day lodging reimbursement (amount based on distance from home)
