The State School Office Cottbus intends, subject to the availability of budgetary resources, to fill the position of Deputy Headteacher (m/f/d) at the Elster School Center, Primary and Secondary Level I, Schulweg 7, 04910 Elsterwerda, as soon as possible.


Responsibilities:


Representation of the Headteacher in case of absence or unavailability; independent and responsible performance of tasks according to the distribution of responsibilities; support of the Headteacher in carrying out their tasks, especially in collaboration with teachers, parents, and students with the goal of ensuring and developing the quality of school work, maintaining orderly teaching and educational work, ensuring the school's profile and the process of developing, implementing, and evaluating a school program; promoting the school as a developing organization based on a pedagogical consensus and a constructive school culture, and collaborating with other institutions and authorities.


Requirements:


Qualification for the career of teacher for Secondary Level I; several years of proven experience in teaching in Secondary Level I for at least three years.


Qualifications:
Ability and willingness to collaborate collegially, innovate in teaching and educational work, and work closely with the school authority, school supervision, and participation committees; assertiveness and organizational skills; high resilience; expected engagement, independence, and ability to work in a team; solid knowledge of school law in the state of Brandenburg; comprehensive knowledge of school management and organization; secure knowledge of the framework and goals of the restructuring and development of Brand
