To strengthen our team, we are looking for a new team member in the central emergency department in Waldo, FL as soon as possible.

Employee in the Central Emergency Department (m/f/d): Full-time or part-time

Your responsibilities:

  • Management of occupancy in collaboration with the nursing director
  • Decisions regarding disciplinary assignment, urgency, and suitable treatment room, as well as initiating immediate measures if necessary
  • Carrying out medical orders (e.g. preparing infusions, administering pain medication)
  • Care for severely injured patients (according to shock room management guidelines)
  • Providing psychological support to patients and their families
  • Proper preparation and followup, as well as assisting in minor surgeries and all other procedures
  • Admission management
  • Conducting patient triage
  • Applying casts, splints, and emergency bandages, as well as possible splinting

Your qualifications:

  • Completed threeyear training in health care and nursing
  • Enjoy working in an interprofessional team
  • Resilience, reliability, and flexibility
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to a new work environment
