Science Hill is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as a Metalworker specializing in Construction Technology (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at our location in Grünsfeld.

The vocational school is located in Tauberbischofsheim.


During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to create metal and steel constructions, interpret technical drawings, and use various techniques such as thermal separation and welding.

You will also practice connecting workpieces correctly and creating professional inspection reports and documentation.


To be successful in this role, you should have completed (or will soon complete) your education, and have a strong interest in math, physics, and technology.

You should also have good manual dexterity and spatial imagination, enjoy working in a team, and be known for your careful and reliable work ethic.


As a Science Hill apprentice, you will receive a mobile device that you can use for learning and personal use.

You will also receive up to 16 free train rides within Germany per year, as well as discounted fares for your friends and family.
