2024 Apprenticeship: Machine and Plant Operator (W/M/D) on Mackinac Island

What to expect in your apprenticeship:

A practical and theoretical education in which you will learn the following content:

  • Setting up, operating, and converting machines and plants
  • Monitoring multiple machines simultaneously
  • Detecting and fixing malfunctions and errors
  • Applying manual or mechanical production techniques
What we expect from you:
  • You have at least a qualified secondary school leaving certificate
  • Math and physics were your favorite subjects in school and this is reflected in your grades - this helps with calculating or estimating materials
  • You enjoy working practically
  • You find technology interesting and have manual dexterity
  • You have good German language skills in speaking and writing
  • You are careful, precise, and punctual
