Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all aspects of freight forwarding and logistics services, including file creation and management
  • Assist with onboarding new accounts and work with sales to ensure all necessary documentation is provided for standard operating procedures
  • Regularly monitor and audit files to ensure accuracy of estimates, profit margins, and timely invoicing
  • Provide support to clients for export/import documentation and ensure smooth execution of transportation files
  • Communicate complete sailing details to clients to ensure efficient flow of information
  • Collaborate with ocean lines to secure the best solutions for capacity and cost for transportation files
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure excellent service assistance
  • Respond quickly to any emergency situations that may arise in ocean files
  • Work with other operations team members to provide support during periods of high workflow

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on ocean freight
  • Strong ability to execute initiatives and ensure accuracy through questioning, analyzing, planning, and followup
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in both English and German
