KTB Import-Export is a successful family-owned company for over 40 years. We optimize the supply of maintenance, repair, and maintenance materials for our customers in the manufacturing industry. We operate worldwide with branches in the USA, China, Brazil, and Mexico to best serve our customers.

Starting on August 1st, 2024, we are looking for apprentices (m/f/d) in the field of foreign trade for the apprenticeship profession of wholesale and foreign trade management at our headquarters in Hamburg-Harburg. This is one of the most interesting and diverse commercial apprenticeships, and we would be happy to accompany you on this journey.

The Apprenticeship

We place great value on an organized and clearly structured apprenticeship for our young talents.

As an apprentice, you will be a fully-fledged team member from the beginning, involved in regular operations. During your apprenticeship, you will go through all areas of the company - giving you an insight into the entire business process, such as:

  • Processing customer inquiries from abroad, including price inquiries from suppliers
  • Creating customer quotes with corresponding price calculations and negotiations
  • Processing customer orders and placing orders with suppliers, tracking deadlines
  • Insights into the process of goods receipt, quality control, and goods dispatch
