Your tasks

You will be part of our Trustcenter team, where we create smartcards and qualified certificates. After an intensive introduction phase, you will be trained by your colleagues in Public Key Infrastructure systems or deepen your existing knowledge.
Together with your colleagues, you will support and optimize the UNIX / LINUX systems of our data center and Trustcenter infrastructure.
Later on, you will also take on tasks and sub-projects for the further development of our Public Key Infrastructure services and develop concepts and solutions for the optimization of our server landscape.
You will analyze the causes of errors and fix them, providing expert information on how to resolve them in third-party products. You will work closely with our software development and quality assurance teams.
You will also support your colleagues in production with any issues related to the use of IT services in the Trustcenter system.

A degree in computer science or training as an IT specialist / system administrator.
Entry-level candidates are also welcome.
First experience in setting up and administering Unix / Linux-based systems, databases, application servers, and networks.
Knowledge of working with networked systems (VMware), understanding the connections and dependencies of distributed services.
