Fire Door Technician
Alliance Environmental Group LLC.

is an environmental contractor specializing in commercial and residential air duct cleaning, demolition, asbestos, lead paint, mold, legal assessments and removal of hazardous materials.

We are growing and looking for experienced
Fire Door Technician's to join our team. We have offices across the state of CA, including Las Vegas NV, WA, Oregon and Phoenix AZ.

Specializing in healthcare sector code compliance, our purpose is to help save lives every day.

We provide Fire/Life safety services including
:

Fire Damper inspections and repairs;
Fire Door inspections and repairs;
Firestopping inspections and
installations;
Air Duct/Mechanical systems maintenance and more.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Install/Repair/Inspect fire door frames, doors, locksets, exit devices, closers, and related hardware to ensure proper operation and compliance with life safety codes and regulations.
  • Carpenters work in active hospitals and administer proper infection control measures per hospital requirements.
  • Installations done in a professional manner with high attention to detail ready for approval/inspection.
  • Read/understand construction drawings to locate and identify scope of work.
  • Use of smartphones for reporting daily progress to Project Manager and/or Facility Manager

Requirements Skills and Experience
-
1+ years of finish carpentry experience:

  • Commercial door/hardware installation and/or repair experience preferred.
  • Flexible with schedule changes some evening, night or weekend shifts based on client requests.

Must have reliable, personal vehicle to/from work.

  • Professional appearance. No visible tattoos and No smoking

Physical Requirements:


  • Carrying/lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Maximum standing
  • Minimal sitting
  • Maximum walking
  • Maximum crawling
  • Repetitive motion; use of tools

$ $30.00 per hour


Schedule:


  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift

Experience:


  • Door hanging: 1 year (required)
  • Carpentry: 1 year (required)
  • Driver's License (required)

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
