We are looking for a Postdoc (m/f/d) / Scientist (m/f/d) in Genetic Epidemiology to join the Center for Genetic Medicine in the research group "Genetic Epidemiology" (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Monika Stoll) for an initial contract of 1.5 years.

Your responsibilities:

Part-time position hours/week, 50%)
Salary according to TV-L/E 13

The research focus of the group is on molecular genetic and genetic epidemiological studies of cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases.

Your tasks:
  • Establishment of miRNA biomarkers in inflammatory diseases
  • Practical supervision and protocol establishment for high-throughput genomic data generation
  • Statistical analysis of genetic epidemiological data, especially from genome-wide association studies and next-generation sequencing projects
