The city of Bamberg is looking for a part-time administrative assistant (m/f/d) in the field of citizen participation for the Department of Citizen Participation, Press and Public Relations, starting as soon as possible.

The city administration of Bamberg fulfills a variety of meaningful and community-oriented tasks for its citizens. Every day, around 1,500 employees contribute with their skills, experience and good ideas. Become a part of it

Your responsibilities will include, among others:

  • Conception, implementation and follow-up of citizen participation in both in-person and online formats
  • Supporting the department head in tasks such as:
    • selecting suitable communication channels and media, taking into account the target audience
    • developing representative and informative surveys and questionnaires
    • creating statistics and diagrams
    • documenting results in digital media and communicating them to the city community and the public
  • Managing activities in the citizen lab
  • Conceiving and implementing formats to showcase the work of the city administration (e.g. self-designed exhibitions in various media)
  • Managing the participation software "Consul" and maintaining the online citizen participation platform "bamberg-"
  • Processing applications for support funds from the city of Bamberg
