Junior Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and design documents.
- Identify, document, and report software defects and issues using tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to reproduce and troubleshoot defects.
- Participate in test planning and design sessions to understand product features and functionality.
- Conduct manual testing and, as appropriate, assist with automated testing.
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure stability and reliability.
- Support the QA team in maintaining a comprehensive test suite.
- Document test results and provide feedback to developers and other stakeholders.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Some experience with software testing or quality assurance, either through coursework, internships, or previous employment.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and concepts.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management software is a plus.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus but not required.
