Our key client, The Peace Corps, specifically the Office of Safety and Security, Information & Personnel Security (IPS) Office, oversees security clearances for Peace Corps staff and contractors accessing Peace Corps facilities and network systems.

We are looking for a Personnel Security Specialist to handle security clearance processing efficiently at Peace Corps HQ in Washington, DC.

Key Details:

Work Schedule: 2 days telework, 3 days on-site
Contract Duration: Prime for a 5-year contract until 9/2027

Responsibilities include:

Initiating background investigations
Assisting employees with clearance processes
Updating case management systems
Providing program assistance
Ensuring compliance with Federal policies
Developing new procedures for program efficiency
Preparing statistical reports

Required Experience:

2+ years experience
Active Secret security clearance
Undergone Tier 3 or Tier 5 background check
Willingness to undergo periodic reinvestigations
Submission of required forms

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of USAccess system
Understanding of personnel security program principles
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
