is looking for a Psychologist for the area of counseling+ in part-time (up to 32 hours) starting on June 15, 2024 in Hackettstown, NJ.



Your responsibilities:

  • Conducting individual or couples sessions as well as family sessions
  • Crisis intervention
  • Holding a weekly consultation hour at the infection clinic (MX) of the University Hospital Düsseldorf and visiting clients who are hospitalized
  • Networking
  • Telephone counseling

Your qualifications:

  • Completed university degree in Psychology (Diploma or Master's degree) or a degree in Social Work with additional training as a psychotherapist
  • Affinity for target groups and acceptance of different lifestyles while maintaining a professional distance
  • Ability to work independently, in a structured and responsible manner, as well as being a team player with comprehensive knowledge of common office software
  • Expertise in the area of HIV/STIs and other aspects of sexual health
