For our Asian restaurant XIAO in Essen, which will open in early 2023, we are looking for a Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible To prepare you for your management responsibilities and the concept of XIAO, an extensive training will take place at another XIAO restaurant (location will be determined together) before the grand opening.


Are you a go-getter who takes on responsibility? Are you known for your gastronomic skills? Do you want both guests and your team to feel comfortable? As an Operations Manager (m/f/d), you will independently lead a XIAO restaurant.

You act like an independent "entrepreneur", relieve the management and, together with your restaurant management, ensure smooth operations and a unique guest experience at all times.

You lead and train your team, support and manage to achieve even better results.

When making decisions, you always consider a long-term perspective and already know today what will be important the day after tomorrow.


And most importantly:

You are passionate about the XIAO brand and have the courage and motivation to infect everyone with this enthusiasm.


And this could be your next area of responsibility:

  • Organization, supervision and management of a XIAO restaurant with a net annual turnover of 3-4 million euros, 200,000 guests per year and approximately 50 employees
  • Operational responsibility for the restaurant
  • Recruitment of new employees and building a pool of young
