**Your tasks / These challenges await you: - Researching new cell chemistries and architectures and their impact on cell performance

Building various types of lithiumion cells, including preparing slurry and coating electrodes
Conducting cell cycling, teardowns, and material characterization
Conceptualizing, designing, modifying, or building new measurement equipment
Simulating and replicating automotivescale battery pack conditions on individual cells in the laboratory
Producing peerreviewed publications and presenting results to a wide audience

The requirement for this position is supervision of the PhD project by a university professor. The PhD student is responsible for choosing their own supervisor.

Qualifications:

**Ideally, you will have the following qualifications for this job: - Completed university studies in chemistry, physics, electrical/mechanical engineering, or a related field
