Description

Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company based in Erlangen. With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry.

Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and construction, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities:

Execution of various construction projects (e.g. HVDC projects, gas and steam power plants (GuDs), hydrogen projects (H2))
Preparation of tender documents for construction and engineering services, as well as conducting technical contract negotiations until contract conclusion
Conducting technical interactions within the project with external partners (customers, engineering firms, authorities, construction companies) and internal partners (building technology, project management, procurement)
Coordination of construction planning and ensuring the consideration of customer and technical requirements
Management and coordination of the construction companies involved in the project
Monitoring and responsibility for deadlines, costs, and quality of construction execution

Your profile:

Completed degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in industrial and plant construction
Good knowledge in the field of civil engineering
Good knowledge of ITWO-Baseline
Willingness to travel for business
Very good German and English skills, additional languages would be an advantage (French, Italian, Spanish)
