Description
ResponsibilitiesAs a precision mechanic, you will often work with computer-controlled machine tools (CNC machines), but also manually.
This includes planning work processes, setting up machine tools, performing tasks (such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding), and evaluating the results.
You are familiar with a variety of measuring tools and adhere to standards and technical documents. You strive for continuous improvement of work processes, also from an economic perspective.Your main tasks include:
- Assembling and disassembling systems, devices, and machines
- Building hydraulic, pneumatic, and electropneumatic controls
- Programming CNC machines and producing parts with them
- Measuring and testing parts
- Maintaining and servicing operating equipment
A good secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate and an interest in technology
- Good grades in math and physics
- Ability to concentrate well
- Manual dexterity
- Good spatial thinking skills
- Patience, even when things don't go smoothly
