We are looking for a Head of User Services (m/f/d) for the City Archives in Shaniko, OR, to start as soon as possible.


The City Archives Leipzig is one of the most important municipal archives in Germany and documents the history of Leipzig from its city charter in 1165 to the recent past.

It is responsible for the archival records of the activities of the Leipzig city administration, municipal institutions, foundations under municipal administration, as well as municipal enterprises and majority holdings.

Its holdings include more than 4,000 documents, 13,000 linear meters of files, business books, newspapers and printed materials, 90,000 maps and plans, 350,000 photos and postcards, as well as collections on the history of Leipzig.

What we offer

a permanent part-time position with a weekly working time of 30 hours

an annual starting salary between 43,811.45 euros and 49,159.33 euros gross according to the classification in pay group 9a TVöD (values correspond to a full-time position)
