Who are we?

At Speakeasy Munich, we provide German language instruction to adult learners in a cozy learning atmosphere. We offer both in-person and online courses, as well as regular telc exams.


To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking motivated DaF instructors (m/f/d) to work on a freelance basis for our intensive and/or evening courses at levels A1.1 to C1.


Our intensive courses take place Monday through Thursday at 9am, 12pm, and 3pm, with 2.5 hours of instruction per day.


Our evening courses are held on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm and 7:45pm, with 1.5 hours of instruction per day.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching German with fun and humor, and supporting your students on their learning journey
  • Using the textbooks "Menschen" and "Sicher" as your guide, which will be provided by us
  • Creating worksheets for your lessons and incorporating current topics based on the students' level
  • Independently preparing and following up on your lessons

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in adult education and/or a degree in linguistics, German studies, or DaF
  • Previous experience teaching groups of 1014 students
  • Motivation to work at our language school in person
