The Meat/Seafood Specialist is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product.

The Meat/Seafood Specialist maintains department conditions, to include proper ordering, inventory, production, and food safety standards in the Meat/Seafood areas.

The Meat/Seafood Specialist provides product knowledge and expertise to our customers.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ability to represent and support Big Y's culture of caring while living our Mission & Vision.
  • Supports Big Y's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Must be proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of both the meat and seafood departments.
  • Must project a clean and professional appearance.
  • Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Pay:

From $18.70 per hour

Expected hours:
40 per week
