Count on:

A challenging position in the department of "Political Representation", which prepares regulatory developments for member companies and represents the interests of members to German and European politics
Identification and analysis of political developments, as well as national and European initiatives, with regard to the business model and strategy of public insurers
Development of position papers, statements, lobbying strategies, briefing documents, presentations, and political evaluations
Accompaniment of legislative processes in dialogue with member companies
Maintenance and expansion of the network with relevant political actors (German Bundestag, federal government, associations)

We rely on:

Completed university degree in law, politics, economics, or a comparable field of study
Ideally, first professional experience in the field of retirement provision/financial market regulation in government, German Bundestag, association, or a comparable institution
Political sensitivity and knowledge of political structures and processes
Interest in substantive work, analytical thinking skills, and the ability to present complex issues in an understandable way for different target groups
Ability to work independently and enjoy networking
Good knowledge of English
