To strengthen our Statistics department, we are looking for a Biostatistician / Data Scientist (m/f/d) in Ford Cliff, PA.

Your responsibilities:

  • Independent statistical analysis of application observations, registries, and studies
  • Mathematical modeling
  • Application of machine learning algorithms on large registry platforms
  • Programming in R, RMarkdown, RShiny, and other languages
  • Creation of SAPs (statistical analysis plans)
  • Methodological input in the development of new projects (study design, sample size calculation, selection of target parameters and analysis methods, research)

Your qualifications:

  • Degree (M.Sc., Dipl., PhD) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in analyzing clinical or epidemiological data (recent graduates with relevant degree will also be considered)
  • Experience in statistical programming with R, ideally also with RMarkdown and/or RShiny; knowledge of Python or SAS is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and proficient in using computers
  • Openness to new developments and technologies
