Description
To strengthen our Statistics department, we are looking for a Biostatistician / Data Scientist (m/f/d) in Ford Cliff, PA.
Your responsibilities:
- Independent statistical analysis of application observations, registries, and studies
- Mathematical modeling
- Application of machine learning algorithms on large registry platforms
- Programming in R, RMarkdown, RShiny, and other languages
- Creation of SAPs (statistical analysis plans)
- Methodological input in the development of new projects (study design, sample size calculation, selection of target parameters and analysis methods, research)
Your qualifications:
- Degree (M.Sc., Dipl., PhD) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in analyzing clinical or epidemiological data (recent graduates with relevant degree will also be considered)
- Experience in statistical programming with R, ideally also with RMarkdown and/or RShiny; knowledge of Python or SAS is a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English and proficient in using computers
- Openness to new developments and technologies
