In 2024, we are looking for motivated apprentices (m/f/d) to train as inland waterway sailors (m/f/d) with the option to become a captain.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining operations on the passenger ship 'Karlsruhe' and attending to passengers
- Performing docking and undocking maneuvers
- Conducting maintenance work in the port area with the help of a work boat
- Caring for and maintaining ship engines and other onboard equipment
- Independently steering ships
YOUR PROFILE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good to excellent German language skills (at least B2 level)
- Physical fitness for sailing
- Technical understanding
- Friendly and cooperative demeanor, team spirit, resilience, dedication, and absolute reliability
