Telework Information:

This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.


The CalPERS General Counsel Office is currently seeking a Staff Services Manager II (SSM II) to serve as the department's Equal Employment Opportunity Officer.

The SSM II will be responsible for administering the EEO program and initiatives, and serves as a key advisor and resource to departmental management regarding EEO matters.

  • The SOQ must be typed, titled "Statement of Qualifications", and each statement must be numbered and answered listing all relevant experience, education, and training, including places of employment, dates, and duties performed.

  • Describe your experience with Equal Employment Opportunity programs, including your familiarity with the EEO statutes related to the complaint process. Please include your years of experience, the types of functions performed, and related training taken.
