Job Description
Our stores are the heart of METRO. Here, our professional customers from the gastronomy industry can find a wide selection of high-quality food and tailored assortments.

In order to make the visit to METRO an inspiration and a profitable business for our customers, we rely on highly trained employees and managers.

Take the helm, shape the assortments, and make our customers happy. With our trainee program, we provide you with all the necessary tools.

In 18 months, we will train you on the job, in various stores, including abroad, and with excellent training, so that you can become a deputy store manager (operations manager) in one of our stores.

This gives you all the opportunities for a great career with an internationally successful wholesaler.

What you should bring:

Above all, joy in personal interaction with customers from the gastronomy industry
Enjoyment of retail on the sales floor in our stores and a passion for food
A knack for logistical processes and a good eye for attractive product presentation
Experience in retail and/or logistics, for example through training as a retail or wholesale
