The Hephata Academy for Social Professions in Schwalmstadt-Treysa is a training center for social, nursing, and diaconal professions at the vocational school level.

The training can be completed full-time or partially while working.

The Hephata Academy currently trains more than 350 women and men in the following professions:
geriatric nurse, deacon, educator, special needs educator, and in special education. The campus of the Hephata Academy for Social Work is also a study location for the Evangelical University
