Job Title: Project Manager at DAVIS Construction

DAVIS Construction, the leading general contractor in the MidAtlantic region, is currently looking for dedicated Project Managers to join their team in Rockville, MD.

As a Project Manager at DAVIS, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing various aspects of the construction process to ensure successful project completion within set timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project team and EHS Managers to prioritize safety
Lead project teams and liaise with subcontractors, owners, and architects
Engage in commercial construction across various Market Sectors
Mentor and guide junior Project Management staff
Work closely with support groups for seamless project execution
Interact with renowned architects and industry professionals in the DC metro area
Participate in job site supervision alongside Field Supervision
Contribute to work plans and foster team collaboration
Engage in networking and community volunteering opportunities

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
Demonstrated success in business development and cultivating relationships
Proficiency in technical systems and ability to learn new processes
Experience in negotiating subcontract terms

Preferred Qualifications:

LEED Certification
Proficiency in Project Management and Scheduling Software
Dedication to project completion and problem-solving
Strong leadership skills with effective communication
Certifications in CPR and OSHA 30
