Amentum is seeking a Mission System Operator for a position in the vicinity of Ramstein AFB/Pirmasens, Germany.

The Mission System Operator conducts realistic TTAO training using a combination of fixed, mobile, and MANPORTABLE mission systems throughout the European Area of Operation.

Responsibilities:

The Mission System Operator operates GBAD system simulators and associated equipment.
Understands U.S. Aircrew survivability tactics and employs near-peer GBAD and IADS tactics in accordance with Scenario controller and /or customer requirements.
Operates legacy Threat Emitters in accordance with Scenario Controller and/or customer requirements up to U.S. SECRET training parameters.
Transports, sets up, completes pre-mission checks, operates, and cleans all mobile, fixed, and support equipment.
Performs operator level maintenance on all electronic equipment.
Sets up, tears down, and ships all equipment under the EWOTIM PWS using manuals and required test equipment.
Drives all required vehicles for equipment transportation and operation.
Loads and unloads equipment being transported by shipping companies or Air Force (Road, Rail or Air).
Transports and secures munitions.
Supports Maintainers while maintenance is being accomplished on equipment.

Travels to temporary duty stations on short notice and for extended periods of time in support of missions, training, and conferences.

Reports any deficiencies or outages of all equipment to Maintenance Control and Maintenance personnel.
