At our location in Dornburg-Camburg near Jena, thomas zement produces high-quality cements, specialty binders, dry building materials, as well as fillers and aggregates made from limestone. Starting in , we offer you a 3-year, diverse and qualified apprenticeship in all areas of the profession.

Your training content:

  • You will learn how to set up, monitor and control grinding systems for the production of cement, lime and specialty binders
  • You will learn how to operate and handle filling and palletizing systems for bagged goods, as well as weighing and loading equipment for filling silo trucks with bulk materials
  • You will learn how to take immediate action and carry out maintenance on equipment

Your profile:

  • You are technically interested and have good manual skills
  • You enjoyed subjects like math and technology in school
  • You have a good school leaving certificate
  • You are a team player, careful, attentive and flexible
