Description

COMSEC/C5ISR Technician

Purpose:
Performs maintenance and support for COMSEC / C5ISR equipment in Castella, CA to meet USG and Amentum standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Conducts daily maintenance operations for various C5ISR systems, following policies, procedures, and mission directives.
Utilizes technical manuals, bulletins, and regulations to repair, handle, store, and inventory COMSEC equipment.
Performs field and sustainment level maintenance on radio receivers, transmitters, COMSEC equipment, Controlled Cryptographic Items, Night Vision Devices, and other associated equipment.
Installs, verifies, and troubleshoots C5ISR ground to ground radio communications systems in designated tactical vehicles.
Maintains telecommunications, microcomputer, fiber optic, and other systems used in artillery controls, night vision equipment, and global positioning systems.
Uses electronic test equipment to diagnose and repair equipment.
Follows complex Army technical manuals and safety procedures when working with high voltage equipment.
Performs Modification Work Orders and ensures equipment is properly tagged.
Adheres to safety protocols and promotes a culture of safety in the workplace.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

Certification, License & Clearance:

Valid US Driver's license.

REQUIRED BASELINE EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or Associate's degree plus
