The MIW gGmbH offers various housing projects for people with learning disabilities in Goldendale, WA. Around 20 employees work for the organization, which supports approximately 70 adults.

We are currently seeking additional team members for our "Supported Independent Living" program, which provides support for adults with learning difficulties in their own homes.

Our team consists of special education teachers, educators, and social workers.

The main responsibilities for this position include:

• Providing individual support to develop skills and abilities, taking into account the residents' resources and promoting self-determination according to the HMBW procedure or ICF
• Designing and documenting comprehensive and planned support for the residents
• Taking on responsibility within the framework of individual support
• Collaborating with family members, legal guardians, and other support systems, as well as accompanying residents to appointments
• Participating in the development of support plans and creating progress reports with the management and residents
• Managing and organizing internal documentation
• Accompanying and implementing medical and therapeutic measures

Please note that there are no nursing tasks involved in this position.
