Hello,
We have a 400 m2 urban plot available in Kewanee, IL.
According to the specifications, it is possible to build up to 288 m2 on the plot.

My goal is to determine if the cost of the land plus the cost of building a house will exceed my budget.


Ideas:
If it is not possible to build separately, the house must have a two-car garage.
As far as I understand, the basement does not count towards the 288 m2. I would like the basement to be used as a garage, entertainment space, and storage area. On the ground floor, there will be an open plan living room, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen will be the only enclosed space. On the upper floor, there will be 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom will have an en-suite bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. The other bedrooms will have large built-in closets.
The house will have underfloor heating, cooling, and hot water based on aerothermal energy. I am also considering installing solar panels, so the roof should be able to accommodate them.
The rest of the plot will be landscaped. I am not sure about the cost of a 6 x 4 meter swimming pool, for example.
As mentioned, I would like to know the total cost including all taxes.

Of course, I understand that this is an approximate cost, as the quality of materials can affect the final budget.
