What You'll Do:

Initial Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of the Microsoft Dynamics accounting program implementation.
  • Work closely with the finance team to define requirements and map out the transition process.
  • Train and support team members on the functionalities and best practices of Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Collaborate with accounting team, IT, and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Ongoing Responsibilities:

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices; Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems; Streamline and optimize accounting operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy while ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and mentor junior accounting staff, providing training and development; Conduct performance evaluations and support career growth within the team; Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, including other departments and teams as needed.

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; Provide insights on financial performance; Provide resolution to complex accounting issues as they arise; Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement; Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.

Accounting Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger functions; Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes; Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.


What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Prior experience in the implementation of new software required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, CMA, CIA certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
  • Experience with implementation of Microsoft Dynamics strongly preferred.
