The Center for Integrated Quantum Science and Technology1 is dedicated to developing innovative technologies based on quantum physics. It was founded in 2014 as one of the world's first centers of its kind. The goal of IQST is to promote synergies between natural, engineering, and life sciences.

It consists of a team of researchers from physics, chemistry, engineering, and life sciences, working at the University of Stuttgart, the University of Ulm, the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, and other universities in Baden-Württemberg.

IQST is currently funded by the Carl Zeiss Foundation and the universities of Stuttgart and Ulm.
