At the Hanseatic Insurance Service, we are the insurance department of the Otto Group.

Our team of reliable and competent professionals provides advice and support to the 123 individual companies within the group, both domestically and internationally, in managing their insurance matters.

As insurance brokers, we also offer our expertise to a wide range of private individuals and medium-sized businesses, both within and outside of the Otto Group.

What to expect:

As a liaison between the IT and business departments, you will be responsible for resolving general and technical issues, ensuring smooth operations across various departments.

Your main tasks:

Receiving and processing incidents and requests as part of firstlevel support
Documenting all processes in the central ticket system
Contributing to the development and expansion of the knowledge database
Constantly participating in the optimization of service processes
Coordinating and implementing GDV data sets, a standardized and widely used data format in the insurance industry for exchanging information

Must-have:

You are currently enrolled in a degree program with a focus on economics or business administration and are available to support us for at least one year, 20 hours per week.
You have a basic understanding of technology and are proficient in using common applications such as Office 365, Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, etc.
Strong communication skills
