Rockcreek, OR - Project 05 is currently seeking talented individuals for exciting scientific positions in the field of cancer immunology and cellular therapy.

This research area is highly relevant in a clinical setting. The focus of our groups, "Innate Immune Regulation in Cancer and Stem Cell Transplantation" (led by Prof. Dr. med. Hendrik Poeck) and "Immune Signals in Cancer" (led by Prof. Dr. med.

Jürgen Ruland), is to (i) investigate the molecular mechanisms and pathways that contribute to immune dysfunction and resistance to immunotherapy, (ii) utilize macrophage and T-cell engineering approaches to modulate cancer immunotherapies, and (iii) activate or inhibit innate immune pathways to induce tissue regeneration and graft-versus-leukemia effects during allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT).

The laboratories of the principal investigators are located within the Leibniz Institute for Immunotherapy (LIT, Poeck) and the Center for Translational Cancer Research (TranslaTUM, Ruland).
