- Work on cutting-edge technology at a global company with a top-notch research team
- Assist in testing Linux-based embedded devices for bug identification and system stress testing
- Develop and execute automated tests using Python to enhance product features and usability
- Gain insights into fiber optic technologies, optics/microscopes, and imaging systems
- Contribute to ensuring product reliability and repeatability for actual customers
- Collaborate within a diverse team to develop real customer-focused products and features
- Conduct investigative work to debug issues by utilizing developer-level commands
- Create automated tests and internal tools using Python
- Drive product reliability testing and analyze data for internal and external stakeholders
- Hands-on learning of test methods, tools, and equipment
- Perform manual and automated regression testing
- Enrolled in or recently completed a STEM-related degree program (engineering, software, or sciences)
- Authorized to work in the US without visa support
- Available for full-time onsite work in Bothell, WA for a minimum of 2 months
- Demonstrated programming skills, particularly in Python
- Strong analytical skills for testing, data collection, and visualization
- Ability to design and implement tests and interpret results
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and investigative mindset
- Ability to follow specific directions and drive to find optimal solutions
- Preferably a local resident of the Greater Seattle area
